Scouts Night out Description

It was supposed to be a campout just like any other. A young group of boys camping in the woods, enjoying life, enjoying nature. That was until it showed up. Now all you can do is run.

Created as a final project for CSCI 477: Elements of Games and Game Development, Colorado School of Mines, Spring 2022

Important Platform Installation Information!

Windows: We are aware that some anti-virus software will render a false-positive on the game, this is a GameMaker wide issue (see https://help.yoyogames.com/hc/en-us/articles/360031016592-What-to-do-if-your-gam...) and we are looking into fixes but we cannot guarantee fixes.

Mac: The game WILL NOT run outside the applications folder, so please drag and drop the app into there! This also seems to be something weird with GameMaker but we will try and see if there are solutions!

Linux: This is very easy, just run the game or run it from terminal!

Controls

• A and D to Move Left and Right
• Space to Jump
• R to Shout
• J, K, L to Switch Between the Three Characters
