After waking up one night, you found yourself trapped inside the story plot of your once adored fairytale… as a mermaid.
However, something seems off. You didn’t know this particular work of Andersen’s took place during the 17th century. And wasn’t the foreign princess supposed to love the prince? Good thing is the sea witch doesn’t force you to exchange your voice for a pair of legs, but how the hell can you find even half a coin to pay them??
But honestly, the most thing you’re curious about is how do these human-like organisms even go to the toilet?
Sea Foam is an interactive fiction set in an imaginative world where the player will be the mermaid in the fairytale “The Little Mermaid”, or so they thought. ★ Explore a low fantasy world where mermaids are the only magical creature exist… but not the only creature with magic.
★ Return home as soon as possible, or take your time questioning your mermaid self whether you should pee in the sea or not.
★ Make a deal with a sea witch in exchange for a pair of human legs.. or be content with what you have (not recommend).
★ Court a prince, a princess or a grumpy witch… or make them court you instead!
★ Customize your gender, sexuality, appearance (including your fishtail color<3).
★ Save your mermaid tribe, or watch their extinction happens.
★ Get close to your new grandmother and six sisters even though you’re just an outsider being transformed into their sibling’s body. 🖤 The Prince: was claimed to be the rightful ruler of the land and the sea (which you and your family are living in), you doubt it since his view in love and marriage is limited and naive, though you could change that.
🖤 The Princess: pursues the prince since she sees it as the only way to fulfill her role for her kingdom, but her heart begs to differ and is trying to run.. towards you.
🖤 The Witch: can and will rob you in the most elegant way, but maybe they have a reason for helping you out multiple times other than just wanting to raise your debt.
