About

Build a new village from scratch
Build a village on a deserted island, and prepare for merciless natural disasters! Learn to choose the right items, understand nature's patterns, use real medieval construction and craft techniques in this turn-based management game.

Features
  • Patiently go through the steps of re-creating a civilization: Start with a stone axe and a shelter made out of branches to finally build elaborate houses and mechanized workshops.
  • Survive in a harsh environment where storms and other natural disasters occur way too often.
  • Turn based: Take all the time you need to plan your actions. When you're done, click the end turn button and start a new day.
  • Detailed building construction: Choose natural resources according to their properties. Use them to craft the materials needed to assemble a building.
  • Realistic medieval construction and craft techniques. Everything could be made in real life the same way.
  • Observe the environment response to human activity. Maybe you should avoid fishing everyday at the same spot or cut down the whole forest.

Seeds of Resilience reviews and comments

Early access review small game management/survival that has potential. There is still a lot of work to be done:-few buildings for the moment-impossibility to rotate the island what is unfortunate to recover some resources-cruel lack of crafts and items of all kinds-a survivor management that could be better thought (some are alike too, we get confused and we do not rearrange their place in the bar)-some bugs to fix (sometimes when you put a building to build, the resources are taken out but the building is not at all posed... and we have to start the harvest of zero) these are all ideas of improvements that I hope will take shape because I really love this kind of games. In addition to that, the sound background is soothing (maybe a wider choice would be good though), the design is nice to look at and everything is pretty intuitive. The grip is simple, especially with the little tutorial. I therefore recommend despite the progress that still needs to be made to make it a really complete game and on which one could easily spend its day. ;)

Early access review a positive recommendation to support this game developed by a tiny French Studio. I have at the moment made only a small part, I think to go back in a few time to see the evolution. We start the game with 3 shipwrecked stranded on an island. Each turn (day) is defined for each of them the tasks to accomplish: harvest resources (blackberries, wheat, clay, cut a tree...), build a building (place of fishing, shelter, workshops...), make an object (ameçon, thread, axe...). Each stain using more or less energy. If a character is in poor health, he will not be able to perform a lot of stains. It will be necessary to pay attention to the health status of its shipwrecked: feed them well and make them a comfortable place to sleep. The island on which we are stranded is randomly generated. So you can get lucky and have a big enough island with a lot of resources or fall on a small, resource-poor island. For the moment the list of buildings to build is not very large, but I suppose that the gameplay will evolve and offer more content. Improvement tracks for the game: to zoom in/out, rotate the map. It would be nice to even our nauffragés wander on the island and the voires will be fanned to the stains that were entrusted to them for the current turn. We only manage food and rest for now. It might be interesting to add other elements influencing the health of shipwrecked: water management with techniques to recover rainwater, discover sources on the island?... social management and/or entertainment.
