"You can't have harmony, without harm"

Drums of Harmony is a 2D top-down rhythm-based roguelike, where you as a spirit bard are trying to cleanse evil Yokai in order to save your village from mysterious disappearances, while using your spirit Daiko drums to create a harmonious melody.

Play as a spirit bard that can move, shoot and collect to deal with enemies and clear rooms, levels and zones.

This concept is a mix between Crypt of the NecroDancer, Enter the Gungeon and Moonlighter.

Narrative

"Enter a melodic world of Yokai!"

In Drums of Harmony something has gone amiss, many villagers have gone missing, fallen to the allure of the melodies of the Benzaiten temples.

The songs become louder and louder at night.. And people wonder why the Yokai are becoming more of a disturbance of peace.

On one fateful night, Setsuko's grandfather goes near Dragon Hill and in his attempt to investigate these mysterious happenings, he is slain.

Hearing the tragic news of her grandfather's passing, she decides that enough is enough, and she heads out towards the Benzaiten Temples alone.
