Game Identity / Mantra: 

Simple 2D one button game about the main character called Shadow, who is transitioning between nightmare and peaceful dream.

Design Pillars:

Fast. Simple but difficult. Audio oriented.

Genre/Story/Mechanics Summary:

The game is controlled using only one button to change Shadow’s direction, which is always moving. 

In the nightmare, Shadow kills the enemy when facing forward, if the enemy touches Shadow’s back, one of her lives is taken and the enemy dies. Shadow has 3 lives, the game is speeding up over time. 

In the Peaceful dream, Shadow can consume apples, to decrease speed and gain score.

Features: 

Shadow is always moving, so the player only changes direction, therefore the game is accessible and easy to use. The game has no end, over time, the speed of Shadow and enemies is increasing and number of spawned enemies is also increasing. Furthermore, the music is reflecting current game dynamics

Interface: 

Space is for switching direction. 

If the player presses space for a little longer, after release Shadow will jump.
