A tribute to the Legend of Zelda, with a shotgun!
- Eugene stumbles through a portal along with a truck rim. He finds himself in a strange land taken over by an alien race. Armed with his shotgun and an arsenal of alien technology, he must find the rim, as it seems to be his ticket home.
- 10 dungeons to explore
- 8 active items and 8 passive items to collect. 16 in total.
- A unique take on multiplayer in which the first player uses an item to summon a doppelganger that shares it's health to assist him. Potentially increasing damage dealt, but damage taken as well.
- Eventually dual wield shotguns!

Product received for free Early Access Review If you don't have a Problem with the graphics and liked the first Zelda or similar Games, you'll probably like this Game as well. On the simple Difficulty level you can play through it relatively quickly, while the High one, thanks to permanent dead, definitely needs its Time and a little Playful Skill (or just good luck). Due to Early Access status, it still has one or the other Error, which is quickly fixed by the Developer when it is reported.
Works with me with Wine without any problems under Debian.

Product received for free early access review * * * I won this game for free on the site orlygift.com but my opinion is not biased. This review is based on the early access version v 0.9.10. * * * shotgun legend is an indie game that pays tribute to the legend of Zelda on NES except that here we do not embody link but Eugene with his shotgun. The latter was sucked by a vortex following the discovery of a truck rim which he needed at the dump (you read well xD). Finding himself on an island in an unknown world, he does not let himself be dismantled and now seeks to find the rim you truck because it seems to be his only way to return.
In addition to being visually very similar to the legend of Zelda, the latter shares a lot of gameplay elements including the map, the dungeons and the progression that is made by finding new objects (passive or active including new weapons) that will allow to move forward in the game or to make Eugene's life easier by improving his loyal shotgun.
The game is nice and seems not too long (I got 9 of the 31 achievments in 30 minutes). Not much to reproached him (currently in reduction to €0.5) in view of his small price if not the music on the main map that does some elevator music. Note that I recommend this game especially to the "old of the day" who will appreciate being able to play a the legend of Zelda like. For my part, I expect it to sort of early access to continue my part knowing that the dev has to advertise content before the 1.0 release including cards to pick up monsters from the game.
