About

Simmiland is a god game.
Watch how mankind develops!

What the heck is Simmiland?
In Simmiland you create a small civilization that you can only influence indirectly by playing cards to the land, such as plants🍃 and minerals ⛰️. Playing a plant on a grass biome tile will result in a wheat plant, but playing a plant card somewhere else will also create something else. Try to experiment as much as you can!

Playing cards costs ✨ 'faith' ✨ that you gain from the humans when they periodically pray for you, or when you fulfill their wishes. One may wish for a berry bush and another for a deadly plague ☠️

One of the more important cards is the ⚗️ 'inspect' ⚗️ card. This card can be played on items, objects and sometimes just on empty tiles. The inspect card will trigger an invention that will help the humans explore your world further.

The way you shape the land and guide the humans will decide which way the humans will develop. They can go as far as to build a rocket! 🚀

The metagame
You can play Simmiland in 2 different modes:
  • Normal mode - your card deck is limited and you will find the apocalypse card at the bottom
  • Endless mode - you can play an endless amount of cards, but you won't get any achievements

In normal mode you will get achievements. Both achievements and progress will net you some in-game currency which you can use to buy new and more cards to fill your deck, giving opportunity to new possibilities.

Features

  • Quick, but relaxing, 10~60 minutes play per game
  • An alternative endless mode where you can shape the land into infinity
  • ~20 different cards
  • 13 different biome types
  • 30+ inventions to discover
  • 40+ different resources to discover
  • 20+ different achievements to fiind

Simmiland reviews and comments

Hui nice little Game! For the four Euros a lot Of Fun. The Music and the ryhtmic Seesaws of flora and Fauna just hypnotized and calmed down. I can relax wonderfully and rejoice in any new Progress made by my little human Viewers. Here and there a few Bugs, a Crash gabs already. Hope this will fix everything. What else gives me something to think about: What about the Replay Value after completing all The achievements. Hope for future Extensions and additional Modes like PvP, Koop, or just an enemy Tribe in the same World. Still enough Game time for the few Euros! Update: After just one Day, some Bugs were fixed and this Problem with the Game Crash was also eliminated. Very fix fixed!

Simmiland is one of those Games you play for a few Minutes, roaring at your Monitor and saying "Man, that was worth it after the End of a Session." On The one hand, the Game Is a God Simulation and on the other hand, a Kind of Card game. You get a Card Hand with Resources at the Start of each Round, play them out and make sure that the little Men grow and thrive. The fact that the little Guys line up seldonously adds to the Charm of the Game. That's when they scream that they have nothing to eat, go off with their little ship to fetch Fish and starve to death just before the Finish-packed with Food. What? Folks, I am your God and not your mommy. I can provide you with Food, but you need to know for yourself how to take that Stuff to yourself! The Cards you play have different Effects on the different Biomes, it is clear. So grain Grows on a Meadow when you play a Plant card. Herbs and poisonous Berries grow in the Swamp. Nothing grows in the Tundra and Cacti in the Desert. This motivates experimentation, even if some of it is left to Chance. Thus, the Critter Map in the Forest Area can provide either a Sheep or a Bear. It happened to me several times that a Bear was used in the middle of my Camp and knotted my whole Population. Things like that Are annoying, but not bad. The Origin of Humanity, after all, is based on a whole Chain of Coincidences, why would this go differently in a God's Sim? When one Wheel reaches into the other, the Chance is well-minded and the Cards come right, it is a Blessing To watch the little Liets in the Construction of their Civilization. I like to help them develop life-practice skills, make sure they discover Things they didn't know and send them a Flash of the Turnip in an Emergency, so that they understand how Electricity works. A good God does not always have to be a Benefactor, as this would restrict his little bouncy Wakes-beautifully represented by the IQ cap, when People build a Church in My honor and can no longer become smarter. Simmiland was a lot of Fun for me and I'm sure I'll play some More rounds to see what else can be done with the little Males. The Price goes perfectly fine for what you get offered.
