SKYBRAWL

SKYBRAWL is an arcade combat flight sim set in the perilous skies of the mid 20th century. Your objective is to destroy as many enemy fighters as possible and land your plane before it runs out of fuel.

Requires a gamepad compatible with the HTML5 "standard" profile. In Google Chrome this includes most Xbox controllers and DualShock 4. (Don't have a controller handy right now? Watch some gameplay footage instead)

Created in 7 days for #7DFPS 2020.

Tips

• You can use Pitch and Roll together to make faster turns than by Yaw alone.
• Aim for where your target will be once your bullets catch up with them: not where they are when you fire.
• Release the throttle to take sharper turns, but be careful not to stall!
• Keep an eye on your fuel gauge: if you run out before returning to the carrier, you may crash into the ocean.
• Think before you shoot: If you attack an enemy without destroying them, they will pursue you.
• Recommended musical accompaniment: 1 2

Medals

Each time you finish a game without being killed, you will be awarded a medal. Collect all 3:

Basic Service Medal
Survive the battle. Distinguished Service Medal
Survive the battle.
Destroy 5 enemy fighters. Outstanding Service Medal
Survive the battle.
Destroy 15 enemy fighters.
