Product received for free is a positive criticism... but! Since Towerfall, we are flooded with games in local cooperation in the world of independent gambling. Skyhook was designed by a single man (Wase Qazi), then helped by a musician and an artist to promote the game. The result is very honest: it is a matter of playing in arenas with a Grapplers, to fight to get confused or to push the opponents to miss their jumps and fall into the void, in order to win the game. A grappling shot is fatal and only the doves can save the player with a well placed shot. It is visually correct, with love pixel and characters with unbelievable looks (a favorite for the shark) but despite all this, Skyhook does not come out terribly from the lot. Unless you really want a Towerfall-like more, in less good and with a pretty boring management of jumps, not on whether this title is recommendable. The games of this genre, even the friendliest ones like this, really suffer from a total lack of appeal for players who have already chosen their foal for the evenings with friends. We do not change brawler or fighting game in arenas as we change adventure, strategy or action bourinne in solo or online. In short, Skyhook is friendly... but will completely sink into oblivion. Remains its author, who has talent and that we will have to watch closely.

Like most Indie Games on Steam, you've probably never heard of Skyhook. This is a local multi-user platformer action. Recently, The market is very saturated with party games. They have become the newest trend in games, from Nidhogg, Towerfall and Gang Beasts, you name it, they come in almost any taste. Of Course, Skyhook has the same amazing amount of pixels that we expect from party games. All the characters are very colorful, neatly decorated and, apparently, a little individual. Other features include elements that can give you a key advantage in battle, from invisibility, to mirroring yourself to other players. These items add a little style of "brawl" in the matches and a little break from the simple connection of people over and over again. Several people can also use the same keyboard for Skyhook, including controllers, which I find a little more intuitive with these types of games. Luckily, Skyhook really supports the full controller, so there is no particular strain in finding what works. Personally, it was not convenient to play with the mouse and keyboard. This is due to the long cursor search, which is not permissible in such a dynamic game. There are Also other game modes, such as Team Deathmatch, Deathmatch and Steam Tank, that limit your hooks for grabs. So, if you're on the market for a fun party, want something that combines elements of Mario, Smash Bros and Speedrunners, Skyhook might just be the game you're looking for in your game library. Just remember to make sure that you have friends who don't mind going to visit and not playing online
