Hold down the LEFT mouse button to arm the fireball

While the left mouse button is held down, the fireball's release power will be built up over time until the mouse button is released.

Release the left mouse button to fire the fireball in the direction you are facing.

The firing mechanism is your ONLY MEANS TO MOVE around in the world.

Press and HOLD the space bar BEFORE you press the left mouse button to then power up a fireball launch in the opposite direction (so that it launches in the direction opposite of where you're facing). Once the left mouse button is pressed (while the space bar is HELD), you may release the space bar and the launch will still be aimed in the backwards direction (towards you).

Each time you launch a fireball, your velocity will change in the direction OPPOSITE of the direction you fired in.

Kill enemies, stay alive, pick up ice cube (light blue) powerups, and limit your fireball launching to build up a high score!

This game was written from scratch using only Window's API (for window creation and events) and Vulkan (for 3D hardware rendering).
