Snail Trek - Chapter 1: Intershellar is the first in a series of "20 minute adventures" where you take on the role of a crew of snails on a journey to a new home world. In the style of the early Sierra Online adventure games, Snail Trek has colorful EGA-ish graphics and a text parser interface. Relive the nostalgia in these bite-sized adventures - but without all the pain. Autosaves, a text parser with auto-suggest, and puzzles with no dead ends, all combine to bring this old genre into the modern era. In Chapter 1, you arrive at the lettuce-covered (or so you hope) planet. But something is amiss. Your ship has been damaged and you may not be able to land at all! Meanwhile, your home world is dying, and your entire civilization is waiting for your report on this new planet. Is it really a lettuce-covered paradise? Key Features Autosaves - no need to save every few minutes (though you still can if you want). A text parser with both auto-suggest and auto-correct - fat finger your way to puzzle glory (but you can turn them off if you want to suffer more greatly). A text parser that understands what objects are in front of you, so you can be lazy and just type things like 'get' or 'look'. CRT emulation mode that gives those pixels an ever-so-slightly fuzzy look. A stereophonic score. Cute snails. Deaths (but hey, autosaves). No dead ends! Puzzle your way around with impunity! Widescreen aspect ratio, since monitors are more rectangular now.

Snail Trek - Chapter 1: Intershellar reviews and comments

Cool short adventure series (Each of the 4 Chapters is to be created with all the Achievements in about 30 Minutes) about a Group of Snails looking for a new Home Planet. The whole thing is Very retro with old Graphics and Keystrokes, which can be used alternatively for Mouse Clicks (for example push xy, get xy, etc.) Fair priced, from me a clear Buy recommendation!

This review about all four chapters. ____ Absolutely must play for everyone who loves adventure games\quests. Especially if you fan of Space Quest. Maybe first episode is sometimes weak, but has its moments like flying in space (in this moment I even call girlfriend to show her this lol) In further episodes developer enhance all parts of game - more interesting puzzles, more jokes, more story and character development. Parser interface is super user-friendly. Gameplay absolutely not punish player with many deaths because of checkpoints before maybe every action. And this ending. Oh my god. I didn't want to spoil this for anyone, but the ending is REALLY powerful and makes you even feel sad and think about a lot

Short Nostalgia for early quests Sierra. Four snails fly on a spaceship to the Salad planet. On the flight they come out of the anbiasy, and here are found trouble. The Game screens are only four, and the main mass of events takes place on the deck of the ship. Nothing Special in the game is not, but done cute and neat. Control strictly on the classics-enter the command from the keyboard, get points for the correct actions. The study is relatively deep, when you enter non-standard options you can get funny comments. Adaptation goes and under modern players-"clever" text parser, mouse control character... It Will be in about an hour (classic veterans will be able to cope faster), and gives positive emotions. And This is just the beginning of a long adventure Ravlikonavtov.

In Snail Trek, you can experience the Adventures of space-navigating Snails in search of a new Home World. The slimy Protagonists penetrate galaxies in Which no Snail has been before. The Adventure is in the Style of the old Sierra Adventures. For all the young snails out there: This means pixelated Graphics and you have to enter commands by (English) text. But now don't click away right away, the whole thing is so charming designed that the 20 Minutes you need per Episode pass almost as if in Flight. 20 Mins? Yes, read correctly, you don't need longer than an average Gifted adventure Player. However, you get the complete 4-part Saga at The moment for 1.61 Euros on Steam, I don't think you can complain about that. Thumbs up for this snakingly beautiful Adventure, I now make myself a delicious Salad, Meal!
