Sniper: Ghost Warrior reviews

When it launched I would have said recommended, but it hasn't aged gracefully enough for me to do that in 2021

To anticipate it, yes the Game has weakened! For Example, the Enemies from 5 Meters Away meet you only badly with their Machine Guns, but from 80 Meters they are almost deadly. The AI also leaves something to be desired in some Places, if, for example, one from 50 Meters away, the others run around senselessly or stand there uninvolved. And from those nervigenvAction passages with Assault rifle, I don't want to Start now. But enough of the negative. The remaining Missions of the Game as Sniper Are just Fun. I at least I know of no other Game which represents the Career of a Sniper So well. When aiming, you have to pay attention to wind and Distance, to higher Levels of difficulty completely without Any help. You also always have to pay attention to its Camouflage, otherwise all Opponents of a Level quickly storm towards you. And finally you need a steady Hand to get your Shots placed to the Finish, holding Your breath included. In the End, sneaking and Shooting to the End motivates, as considered going is always the best Choice is to get through the Levels. The Story doesn't reinvent anything but fits in well with the rest Of the game. For those who would like to Sneak through a Jungle as Sniper, a clear Buy recommendation.

City Interactive is really not known for good Games now. Sniper: Ghost Warrior is no Exception. It's probably the worst Game I've ever finished-and only because this pig, pressed on a CD, cost me a full €1616. Read in my Review why you should also avoid this City Interactive Game. Story: The Story fits on a Beer Lid and is accordingly engaging, influential and exciting. She is even so bad that I don't know what it was about anymore. Something with Snipers in The Jungle and a Villain who wants to subjugate the World. Of course, it's hard to design a good Story for a sniper game, but the Story Writer should have put a lot more Effort into it. The grandiose Film "Duell – Enemy at the Gates" From 2001 shows that there are also interesting Blacks-protecting stories to tell. Gameplay: Since the Story is only An Accessory and uninteresting for many anyway, we come to the Gameplay. And that's boring, not varied and just lame. Clearly Sniper don't exactly have the coolest and most action-packed Job, but this Problem could have been solved much better. The (thankfully) rather rare Action Insoles in which you get pressed an Assault rifle into Your hand are a real Grail. The Weapons steer each other horribly and have very strange Behaviour. The Action Parts are the most gruesome thing about the Game. The Control is relatively obvious. Presentation: I'll do it short: The Graphics are chic, but not quite contemporary anymore. Also no longer for the Release year 2011. The Sound is good Average and the German Setting a Mess. No Effort has been put in here. The Game world can be seen very nicely in the first one or two Missions, but after that it is only boring and monotonous. Even the Atmosphere never really manages to be dense or oppressive. It is a pity, because a Mission in the Style of the Pripjat Mission in Call of Duty would have done this Game very well. Artificial intelligence, on the other Hand, can provide laughter and Excitement. It is not smart but just inhumanely precise and often discovers you, although one finds onely camouflaged in the Scrub. Verdict: Fingers off. If you want to have a good Sniper Game, then access the Competing Product of 505 Games and Rebellion. 3/10
