Soul Switcher

This game was created for the Brackeys 2023.1 game jam, the theme was "An end is a new beginning". 

Game concept:

Every time you defeat an enemy, you switch souls with them, taking on their abilities, weapons and weaknesses.
The game contains a tutorial and 15 levels, all of the code was written by me, some of the pixel art is sourced from external sources:

- Character
- Spikes and other traps

All sounds were generated using bfxr, music is not mine: Computer's Abyss by Rob0ne

It is recommended to download the game, if you want to achieve better framerate.

Note: The game is not easy and can be very frustrating
