Spell Blasters - Multiplayer Fantasy Shooter

Spell Blasters is a Online Multiplayer Shooter (Caster) that allows up to 8 people to battle it out in a several game modes - Capture the Zone(s) , Free For All, Team Death Match.

You play as a Wizard wielding three unique spells and a super jump ability, which together give you an arsenal of tools you can use to overcome your opponents.  Easy to get in to, difficult to master, Spell Blasters is an frantic fun time with family and friends.

Game Modes:

Instructions - Host and Play a Game

• Pick your Player Name
• Have the host Create Room
• Have players Find Game and enter the Room Lobby
• Host Starts the game once everyone is in Room Lobby
• Note: Late joining is possible after game starts, but extremely buggy

Instructions - Controls

• WASD - Movement
• Spacebar - Jump
• Shift - Sprint
• Left Click - Shoots Current Spell
• Right Click - Activates Super Jump
• Mouse Wheel - Scrolls through 3 spells
• 1, 2, 3 Keys - Allows direct selection of 3 spells
• Note: Spell cooldowns shown in bottom-right hand corner

Instructions - Modes

• Capture the Zone(s) - Capture the zone by standing within the white ring at the Church,  Town Square, or Castle.  The more players in the zone, the faster it captures.  The more zones you control the faster your team gains points

• Team Death Match - Try and kill the wizards on the other team

• Free For All - Try and kill all other wizards

Technical Notes:

Please note, this game is still under development and in early stages, and does contain some minor bugs.  If you encounter any issues, feel free to mention them in the comments below.

For the best experience, the host should consider downloading the executable.  It's not completely necessary, but it will avoid some minor bugs that can occur when the host play in the browser.

If playing in the browser, the game is best played in Full Screen mode, and has been targeted to play best on a 1920 x 1080 resolution.

For those Unity nerds out there (like myself), this game was built in Unity3d , and multiplayer is supported via Photon's PUN2.  I built the game over a month in June 2021, and it's my first endeavor into 3d and online multiplayer. I wanted to post this on itch, even if not full feature complete yet, as otherwise it would just die on my hard drive like so many other projects :)
