SquareCells reviews and comments

A pure pleasure, but a little short. First of all, I have to say that I love puzzles solving only by logical deductions. SquareCells matches exactly this type of game. The three Hexcells of the same developer (Matthew Brown) had already liked me very well. I had no doubt in beginner that I would also appreciate this one. SquareCells is a variant of the puzzle game that is called, among others, picross or nonogram. Some extra rules, quickly assimilable, make this puzzle unique. The game consists of 36 grids of varying size. The last 3 or 4 are particularly difficult. I wish I had more of that caliber. Since there is no generator or level editor, I am a little stuck on my hunger. I hope there will be an infinite SquareCells in the future as there was an infinite Hexcells. However, during the past few hours, it was a real pleasure to solve the various problems proposed and it is this impression that dominates. In the next few days, I intend to put myself to CrossCells, another logic-based game from Matthew Brown. I spit in advance.

I hate Hexcell Plus. The Infinite is better, but it's also incredible. But this game is beautiful. Missed just one little detail. Cell Markers. For you To understand, in Hexcell you either paint the cage, or remove (Errors cut Perfect, which is necessary for Achivki). Therefore, it is tedious to look into the field of 100 + cells in search of the very only one that will allow you to move on, pretending in the mind of crossing the rows and neighboring cells. One сr * * * Puzzle LVL 6 can be solved an hour for perfecta. Wrong-Start again. So here we go back to SquareCells, here the cells are square, but the logic is the same-rows, columns, groups of cells and related rows/columns. As I said, a weighty plus in the fact that marking the cage as necessary, you do not get a fine, you can all at least a field to mark, and only the cleaning of cells affects the rating and complete solution. And It is fine, it is possible to sit, slowly to iterate over combinations, to check up with quantity of the uncollected cages, for verification of variant of the decision, in the end to delight in the process of solving a puzzle, instead of breaking eyes and remembering all 100 + cages on a field. Separate Plus switching the light background to black, IMHO eyes a pleasant dark mode. Someone will say there are no saves, I agree, but the fields here are not very large, you can and without the Sevs play. No generator, not good, but not all will be zadro * * * * in the variation of the Sapper 100 + hours. In General, I summarize, Want to play a cool puzzle by the type of sapper/Japanese crosswords-take SquareCells, you will like.
