And thus, this visual novel was born. Follow the journey of two best friends as they embark on a mission to create the most legendary chess club in the school. This is just the prologue of the story, but it sets the stage for an epic tale of friendship, strategy, and triumph over adversity. Along the way, they'll meet an eclectic cast of characters, each with their own unique personalities and quirks. From the mysterious upperclassman to the charismatic team captain, every member of the club will test the limits of their friendship and chess skills. PS: So I realized rather belatedly that I was supposed to make the sound and background myself as well. I thought I only had to make the character art, and by the time I discovered otherwise, it was kind of too late to change anything. I really wanted to submit something to this jam, especially considering this is my first ever game jam, so I decided to submit what I made anyway. I understand this might disqualify me, but I still really wanted to share what I made and give everyone an opportunity to play my game!
