Star Battle (Atari VCS/2600)

Synopsis:

Oh no! Interdimensional aliens are trying to attack Earth! But fear not! You are the pilot of a intergalactic fighter ship known as the Vulture-01. And it is your job to use your ship to blast as many aliens as you can to kingdom come! Defend your home planet in this endless shooter, and good luck!

Controls:

Fire: Starts the game/Fires lasers

Up and Down: Move the ship up and down to aim at incoming aliens

Gameplay:

The objective is to shoot at the aliens that travel from the right side of the screen to the left side of the screen. If you shoot an alien, the backdrop will flash green, and you'll earn 10 points. If the backdrop is an orange colour when this happens, you will earn twice that amount of points. If you get hit, the backdrop will flash red and you will have your position be reset. Get hit four times and the game is over.
