String Quest

Welcome to String Quest, a game made in 7 days with PICO-8 for the Brackeys Game Jam 2021.1!

In String Quest, you take control of two souls that are navigating through a dungeon. They seem to have a special connection, and are bounded by a string that can be used to kill enemies!

• Both players are constantly moving! Press Z to switch between them and use the arrow keys to move the active player.
• After using the string to kill all of the enemies in a room, a flag will appear—collect it to continue to the next level!
• You are rewarded with a collectible heart for completing a room without any deaths, and there are 5 secret coins hidden throughout the game. Can you collect them all?
