Sugar Vikings

The different viking tribes always started war between each other. Odin saw that and was like "nah, ah! Not with me. I'll make peace between those guys." 

So he created small channels between the tribes. The vikings couldn't cross the river, because their boats where made for the sea and way too big for the small channels. Swimming was no option either - because they are sugar vikings, vikings made out of sugar.

So they build small boat to cross the channels and get to the other tribes - but they are far, far away
