About

It must be seen to be believed…

In Susurrus, you play as Bo, a teenager who travels with his friend Asha to a small town on the outskirts of Egypt, hoping to meet up with his archaeologist uncle. But the world he enters is full of intriguing and mysterious things, and what Bo unwittingly finds there may lie the secrets of his deepest fears...

In this game, you explore this vibrant and mysterious world, meet delightful and curious characters, in a place where anything could be around the next corner.

The ethos behind the game…

It has been said that narrative is life without the boring bits. Film and books do this to great effect, cutting to the important bits and building narrative flow with moments of anticipation, action and reflection. But wandering a 3D game world is closer to a simulation… If a mountain is a kilometre away, often you have to walk the whole way.

What if there was a game world that you could flow from moment to moment, is a seamless cinematic way, that felt like you were experiencing a world more like a book or a film? Then you could combine all the wonders of interactive 3D exploration with potent, meaningful storytelling at the same time.
