Sweeter Yesterday

Sweeter Yesterday is a horror game made in RPG Maker VX Ace. The game shifts from being cute to creepy with an impactful contrast. Sweeter Yesterday is inspired by several other RPG horror games such as Dreaming Mary and Pocket Mirror.

Please note that the demo is only about 20-30 minutes long.

You play as a young girl named Laletta, and go on a reminiscent adventure throughout her childhood world, coming across her imaginary friends along the way. Laletta's friends all have aspects of her personality intertwined in them, so when they start to become selfish and insincere, or vain and narcissistic... Laletta wonders if these bad traits are present in herself, too?

Follow Laletta on her journey of love, fear, and self-introspection.
