About

Swiftly is a very challenging platformer game. It has simple graphics and easy to understand rules, but you are going to have a hard time completing the levels.

  • Blue platforms are just your average platform with no special traits.
  • Green platforms has a bounciness of 120%
  • Red platforms have zero friction.

Throughout the level, there are gears which come in all sizes, looking to kill the cube.
The player's objective is to lead the cube to the winning point. There are also checkpoints scattered throughout the levels.

Swiftly reviews and comments

You want Fun? Then don't buy the Game on you. It's pretty "sluggish" programmed. The Cube can only be controlled very spongily and the Hit boxes of the prickly circles which are (at least in the first Level) the only Opponents are horrible. I made it to the first Checkpoint, which was so poorly set that you didn't get past the directly following opponent. It's supposed to be hard, but under a heavy Game I imagine something in the SuperMeatBoy direction rather than an "I-Bin-weight-whole-mine Control-poorly---Ist" direction. And the Soundtrack isn't particularly good either, because it starts to annoy pretty quickly. I unfortunately really couldn't Play it because I catch the Controls way too horrible. Verdict: You want Fun? Then don't buy the Game on you. You want to support a Company? Then buy it to you.

Swiftly Game and Storyline Swiftly is a platform developed by Cleverweek. Check a cube to bring to the end level, nothing original in short. Gameplay With WASD You can move the cube through the level dodging obstacles (or rather, the obstacle, since it is always the same wheel bet repeated throughout THE GAME). What differentiates Swiftly from other platformers are the three types of platforms. Blue: Normal Platform. Green: Platform "Trampoline", makes you bounce. Red: Platform with low friction, it accelerates very easily and it is difficult to brake. On paper could be a good pastime... But it's not. The controls are a disaster! It Is very difficult to take our hand and even though certain levels requiring extreme precision will still be a birth to be overcome. Even physics leaves enough to be desired. Fortunately There are checkpoints scattered around the levels. Unfortunately the checkpoints do not remain in memory if you exit the level, so once you start a level is also finished. As if That were not enough, some checkpoints are placed exactly on top of obstacles... A choice of design quite questionable. Levels are 25. Some were really fun and beautiful to play, but others were just a continuous "test and try again", especially those where you have to jump in points not visible. The game is also full of bugs... Sometimes it happens to "get stuck" in the ground for no reason, some hitbox are made really bad. The Game time crashes if you get out of a level and it won't unlock anymore for the rest of the game. To Get it started again you have to restart the game. Graphics and Sound Graphics are deliberately very minimal, everything is monochrome. As A background we have the usual elevator music that after 2 minutes stove and is changed and the sound effects are totally absent. Additional DLC No DLC... Achievements achievements are 24 and are related to the completion of the first 24 levels. It was also expected the 25th, but it was removed because it buggy and never put back. Conclusions Unfortunately The downsides are too relevant to advise. I Am in favor of the indie developers, but for that you do not have to fill Steam of poorly made and managed titles worse. If you want to try it during balances they literally pull it in your back, you should take it for a few pennies.
