About

Set in the fantasy land of Notthatmuchfurther, Talent Not Included tells the story of three monsters: Zordok, Derp, and Kevin, all three huge fans of slaughter, bloodbaths, and Shakespeare.
One night, as they were bored out of their minds, they decided to put on their own play. Unfortunately, nothing went as planned…
That’s mostly because Zot, a demonic critic hired for the occasion, chose three mediocre actors with strong personalities, hoping to sow hell on stage for his own and the public’s amusement.
Break a leg! As you will be playing these actors in hopes of making a nice profit out of your marvelous performance!
Come on! Show's this way!

Talent Not Included reviews and comments

Talent not included is a fairly friendly platform game that offers more and more demanding levels. One will play in turn a warrior, a thief and a magician who each have a power of their own, and the internships are foreseen in consequences. The dévs have set a lot of references to other games in dialogues that serve as transitions towards the levels: in the first two acts I have really fun, but the dialogues of the third Act are, in my opinion, far too drunk of references (it's annoying to have the impression that the devs are constantly making calls from the foot, it got me out of the game...), and the jokes are less well screwed. The game is a bit short to my liking, I finished it in a little less than 4 hours and the only replayability that is offered is to redo the same level to get a better score, which may seem a little light for a purchase at 13 euros. But the game remains friendly and play in local Coop looks really fun. In short if you look for a platform game quite demanding with a universe a little quirky and totally funny whose gameplay is renewed as we change character with as bonus the possibility to play in local Coop: talent not included is the game that you need.

Aloha! [I am at half of Act 3] So why a negative evaluation? Simply because the game announces a "complete" joystick support and this is not the case. For having tested different controllers which otherwise perfectly answer in all my other games: I no longer count the approximations of the execution of certain movements: example the roll in the air while you simply wish "bland" with the Thief (2nd Act) the fact that the character turns randomly when you want to attack an enemy. This appears with all the characters so annoying enough to lose your combo for so little dialogues. Indeed, you did not expect to read such a Word, but to read all the lines of dialogue, pass on your keyboard, because it is useless with the controller. Last boss of the 3rd Act... Besides, the graphics of this game look childish. Well I do not advise to buy it to your children-unless you want to test their perseverance and the floral vocabulary that they were able to have at school. This game certainly has qualities, the speedrun aspect, the puzzles and the different gameplay of the 3 characters but its flaws do not make the beautiful part of the requirement but to keep its blood cold so as not to frantic the crisis of nerves. You want to meet the challenges then go through the wallet box, otherwise go your way, no one will blame you!
