The Automaton

The Automaton is a small horror game set on a sci-fi spaceship, with 3 enemies trying to end you. The objective is to survive for 5 minutes without being killed by evading the enemies, using your flashlight to provide light and the cameras around the outside ring to find out whether the coast is clear. 

Use headphones for the best experience!

Collect batteries strewn around the map to recharge your flashlight.

If the game doesn't run very well on your hardware, toggle the FX On/Off at the start of the game to turn all the lights off (the flashlight is enhanced to balance).

WASD: to move

Shift: to sprint

F: to turn on/off the flashlight

C: to bring up the camera UI (not very good looking, sorry)

V: to exit any camera and bring the focus back to the player

Escape: to pause the game

Number keys 1-6: faster switching between cameras
