The Eclipse is a DungeonCrawler that uses a trick-taking game for combat.
The Moon and Sun will alternate during battle and exploration - affecting how combat is resolved.
Players will level up and replace cards in their deck to improve their odds.

Trick-Taking Combat Notes: If you’re not sure what a tricking-taking game is, there is a short tutorial to help in-game. I have notes below as well.
- Combat is resolved with a trick-taking game.
- Each trick will involve 2 cards played by both the enemy and the player.
- The first card played each trick will set the winning suite.
- Any card can be played, but only cards matching the lead suite will count. Wild cards count towards any suite.
- If a wild leads a suite, then all suites count that trick.
- ~~~~
- The loser of a trick will take damage for each card played
- If the enemy and player both play a winning card with the same value, a PARRY occurs
- Parried cards will be set aside and the loser of the next trick will take additional damage for any cards that were parried. This can stack until a parry does not occur
- ~~~~
- A coin flip determines who leads when a battle starts
- The loser of a trick, will start the next turn
- After a parry, a coin flip determines who leads next
- ~~~~
- During The Eclipse, the Moon and Sun will alternate
- Under a Sun, the HIGHEST card will win the trick
- Under a Moon the LOWEST card will win the trick
- Cards with Moon or Sun symbols will change the win condition during battle
