Gameplay:
The End Is Nigh is a sprawling adventure platformer where the player takes control over Ash, one of few "things" that have "survived" the "end of the world".
Follow Ash as he flops his way through a future of pain and suffering. Feel his stress levels rise as you throw him into an endless swarm of decaying, mutant animal-like creatures and help aid his final epic quest... to simply make a friend (out of pieces of people he finds along his journey).
Oh, also you collect video game cartridges and tumors! if that does anything for ya.

I just played the Game a bit, but I watched a Playthrough from that Game. Since the Release, I wanted to get this Game as the Screenshots looked promising and I wasn't disappointed. But something like this is ingenious to be expected of Edmund. The Game is a Challenge, as well as Super Meat Boy and The Binding of Isaac, although that's not that hard now, after hundreds of Hours. If I had to describe Edmund'S Games in a few Words, then those would be cute and a bit disgusting, respectively disturbing. But that's not a bad thing.

This is the spiritual successor of Super meat boy, clearly! For those who like the masocores set to the hair of the butt. Certainly you will die in a loop, but it is because you do not control enough my little... Good remixs of classical music, and a creepy world to the MC Millen otherwise, as usual. I just find it a shame that unlike Super meat boy, you can't directly join the screen of the world you want to go through the map. You have to retype all the intermediate screens before you get there. Not practical to chopper all the tumors you miss! (it's so weird to say that XD)

the end is nigh is a great platform game in the same way as Super meat boy but it's not the same game. prepare you to die a bunch of times! the game wants to be hard and it will have to be persistent to get to the end of some level and do not think that the finish has 100% will be easy away from the, you will need a good dose of cold blood and patience to arrive to collect the secrets and others. the level design is thinking well and you will return the brain on some Board. the soundtrack is nice despite the fact that some times it will be off topic with the universe of the end is nigh. I recommend this game has all fan of Super meat boy and other games of platforms raging (it is strongly advise for this kind of games to possess a gamepad for your mental health I know what I say ^^)

Super meat boy is for me the best platformer I've played. So it would seem difficult for Edmund McMillen to make another platform game of such a high quality. And yet it's a successful bet. The beginning certainly left me a bad impression: music based on popular tunes of classical music is little inspired and lends itself badly to this type of game. The first world is also probably the worst by being quite dreary and repetitive. But once past these flaws, the end is nigh proves to be a very good game. Many original mechanisms are introduced in every world and this game manages to stand out enough of Super meat boy to not suffer from being compared. Try Super meat boy if you haven't already played there. And if you liked it, I think the end is nigh will most likely appeal to you.
