The Magical Silence
About
The Magical Silence is a small surreal quest about imagination.
This is a very strange game. Sometimes she is very kind and sometimes very sad.
Logic is dead.
Trust your intuition...
Open your heart...
You must do it!
But how?
Now it's your problem...

The Magical Silence reviews and comments
The author of this game did his best, taking a simple concept as a basis and diversifying it stylistically and design as much as possible. Probably, this is exactly what is valued in indie games - when it is not necessary to lay out huge amounts of money to please the eyes of the player and give him a few memorable and emotional experience. The maximum of imagination and abstract thinking of the subconscious of an ordinary person is concentrated here, experiencing confused feelings of depression and lack of something more. In general, for such a fair price, you will get a lot. But even without this, there is a very nice picture and ear-pleasing music. The gameplay as such is not the most important here, but its echoes are present, although at first it is not at all clear what exactly they want from you, but you gradually get involved and quickly understand everything. One can quite complain about the one and only achievement, a very short duration and the ending. But in general, one should not blame such an original vision of the author of the human subconscious. I think that this game, in principle, is worth its money and pays off by feeling. Although I still want a little more...

"The Magical Silence" is a tiny Surreal game.
We're in a Dog's Head and we're essentially on a single scrollable Screen, where we solve little puzzles that mostly consist only of clicking on anything. In this drawn World, an Elephant with a Monocle and a Cylinder sits on a Park bench that stands on an island floating in the Clouds ...
Well, joyful Patterns Of Interpretation Don't seem to help directly here either. But It is hardly possible to understand something, to experience more of this strange World.
Actually, there's not much to speak for "The Magical Silence." It is Played through in about 10 Minutes, the Mechanics are simple and technically not always successful.
But still I liked to play it, because the World is something else, the Critters dressed nice and lovingly, the Sound simple but somehow fitting.
In the Mass of clone games, it stands out refreshingly. Not a profound, but still a game that is entertaining for a short Time with a good Atmosphere or even better a small, interactive Painting.
Rating: 7/10 Atmosphere 6/10 Story 6/10 Graphic 6/10 Sound 5/10 Game Mechanics 4/10 Balancing 6/10 Game Pass Conclusion: Just in a Nad somehow different.
6/10 Overall Rating

What is "The Magical Silence"?
Well... At best, you could still say ... "An Experiment ..." Or "an ambitious ..." No, let's cancel this ... "A Try." In the broadest Sense, The Magical Silence is a Point-and-click adventure in which we unlock small Knubbels by stupides (often multiple) clicking on animated objects, which then fly after the mouse Cursor and with any other grotesque Figures and Knubbles interact.
The Graphic looks like a drunk computer science student has let off steam in Paint. Sorry, I like indie games and I'm the last One who wants to see the Unreal Engine 4 in every game, but there's Neither charm nor Expediency to highlight in this Case at the Graphics. This is simply loveless and ugly.
As far as the Duration of The game is concerned, it takes about 5-20 Minutes to lose the Desire to Click Around and watch the Six-minute Solution video on YouTube. If you know how, the Game has a Total Playing Time of about three Minutes, whereupon you get to see the Final Sequence. I do not want to spoil here, but also the weak Attempt to make Sense of The Game by exaggerated drama in the Final Sequence unfortunately passed me completely by.
Yes, the Game costs under one Euro and yes, there are collectible cards to be played. But unfortunately these were already all the positive Aspects that I Think are to be said about The Magical Silence and since they have nothing to do with the actual Game, I have to speak out clearly against a Purchase here.
