The Prisoner's Dilemma

Welcome to The Prisoner's Dilemma! 

In The Prisoner's Dilemma, your goal is to help two characters escape from an old prison. But beware, the prisoners are bound to each other by a tight chain that will suffocate them if they pull it too tight!  You can play by yourself or with a friend, using WASD and Q to control one prisoner, and the arrow keys and shift for the other.

Full Tutorial

• The green prisoner uses WASD to move and Q to throw keys
• The pink prisoner uses the arrow keys to move and shift to throw keys
• Each prisoner can pick up both keys, but only the green prisoner can open green doors, and only the pink prisoner can open pink doors
• If you stray too far from your partner, the chain will  strangle you!
• You can see how close you are to being suffocated based on how close the red chain is to the edge of the screen 
• Use R to restart a level

The Prisoner's Dilemma includes:

• This game was made by SnugPig of SnugPig Studios in 48 hours during the GMTK Game Jam 2021 (with the theme of "Joined Together")
• All assets, including but not limited to art, music, and sound were produced by SnugPig during the GMTK Game Jam 2021
• Please note that MacOS and Linux  builds have not been tested.
