The Quest reviews

Need recommended. I like dungeon crawlers. But this Game is just made cheap, has a completely static Animation. My God, you can't get that much wrong after all. When the Opponents come to one, it's like a Playing Card is being moved towards one. The Puzzles are okay, but after five Hours the Game was just too boring. Then you saw most of the Monsters. No Comparison to, say, Grimmrock (Class) or MMHX. Saves the Money and buys something else. For example, The Long Dark or Firewatch or the aforementioned Games.

The Comparison with the "Might & Magic" franchise is obvious, but mMn is only reached in a Fraction of "The Quest." There is less of everything:-few Races, no classes-slimmed-down Inventory-just one Character and no Group-little Animations-too easy Quests-too little to discover, for that-too much pointless fallow land etc., etc. All in all, it is a highly Elementary, broken Crawler who certainly had Ambitions but currently cannot fulfill them. What would surely be super awesome as a mobile title in form is just too thin as a PC implementation.

Ok, it's Time to write my first Review, so far I've always pushed myself. So Do I Recommend The Quest? Absolutely:-) Of course, Old-School should like Grid-Based RPGs, TQ joins the Ranks of the Classics like Might + Magic 1-8, Wizardry, Dungeon Crawler ala Dungeon Master ect. One, who is in The mood for this good Old feeling again, will be well served here, especially since I find the Graphics very appealing, for this Genre. Is not, of course, an Engine Ala Crysis 3. Also a special Plus: The/of the Dev/developer. Take a look at the updates of the last Few months: Almost every few Days he has implemented new small Function/Ideas and suggestions of the Gamers and fixed smaller Bugs: I call this exemplary. So no Criticism? Well, I took Time to Play (first Lev.7), and therefore that may change in the Course of the Game, but so far the Dungeons are relatively small, so no Comparison to the Dungeons of the aforementioned classics, sometimes pulling over tens of levels, also in Terms of puzzles I had wanted something for Wizardry again. And it's not so far. Allerding I have been waiting 15 Years for something of Wiz7 or 8 Calibre, welcome to the Club. Dear indie Devs: Who ventures to a Wizardry 9:-) The Difficulty of the Fights So far has not been very high either, I think I only had to neul 2-3 times. Well, maybe that's still changing, from Level 15? :-) However, I also stand on bock-heavy Fights, at Pillars of Ethernity the Level of Difficulty Schwer does not seem to me to be enough, which annoys, I lose almost no Fight! No matter here Off-topic. Allegedly, there are also supposed to be enough players who think TQ is heavy, so please just see this as very subjective. Back to The Quest and as a Conclusion: If You like RPGs like M + M, you can access them unreservedly!! TQ is just Fun, and is very lovingly designed and has Devs who deserve it and need to be rewarded!! Verdict BUY:-)
