The Shadow Complex

The Shadow Complex is an investigation into the shadow through the players expression of violence and their shadow projection into video games. The game design pillars are constructed to put the player into a space where they can discover the worst side of themselves, their shadow. The game design pillars are as follows; Identifying as/ embodying a perpetrator, shadow projection onto NPCs and player reflection/ introjection.
