The Sky Postman - A Virtual Narrative Journey

The Project

This is a prototype of an application created for the virtual reality course provided by the Polytechnic of Turin, for the faculty of Cinema and New Media Engineering. It was developed with the 2021 version of Unity and designed to be enjoyed via HMD (especially Oculus Quest 2).

The Story

Phil is a humble postman who works, and lives, on an island that looks like a true paradise on earth. The people are friendly, the weather is always sunny and peace reigns undisturbed. But, a shadow comes from a distant country, afflicted by a violent war. Our Phil, aboard his faithful and flamboyant hydroplane, will have to face an impossible journey towards that village facing ghosts of the past and the future.
