The Weeping Statue

A group of birds investigate a mysterious statue in the middle of the ocean. What will they discover inside?

A short, weird sketch  for the gameboy! Run it on actual gameboy hardware, or an emulator, whatever floats your boat. 

(UPDATE: I have added a version that can be played in the browser, though the music sounds pretty choppy and unpleasant, at least on my own computer. If you are playing on the web I recommend turning down or muting your volume!)

Made from November 2020 to January 2021.

The game itself is free, but if you like you can   purchase the custom assets I made, including sprites, backgrounds, music, ui elements such as a font based on the one from the Hamtaro GBC game, as well as a few extras - all of which are licensed under Creative  Commons, details of which can be viewed below.
