They Came for the Cows

They Came for the Cows is a small game idea I had about a year ago.  I just started putting together a prototype, and will be sharing progress here.

Controls:
Forward: W
Backward: S
Left: A
Right: D
Up: SPACE
Down: RIGHT_MOUSE or CTRL
Rotate Camera: MOUSE
Zoom Camera: MOUSE_SCROLL
Exit: ESC

There is not much gameplay yet.  Beam up rocks and cows to your ship.  This will be one of the game's main mechanics, your goal will be to capture as many cows as needed.  

The idea with the prototype is to help "find the fun" in this game.  I will be adding features, and hopefully getting feedback on how it can be improved.  

The next thing I plan to add is farm houses with farmers who will come out and investigate.  If they spot the UFO, they may try to shoot.  Bullets will not harm your ship, but will disrupt your attempts to capture cows.

Ideally, farmers should be avoided, but if spotted you will have to capture them and erase their memories.  

We will see what happens then.  Whether the game has promise or not.
