Timeporter
About
This tiny game was made for the Mini-jam 63: Future.
(note: the download file may appear corrupted for some Mac users. It's not. That's Mac OS's way of saying it can't verify the file. Until I find a better solution, the game works fine in the itch.io app, if you want to try that: https://itch.io/app
*edit: another workaround is to open Terminal on your Mac and type the following:
xattr -cr /Applications/Timeporter.app
making sure you place the Timeporter app in your Applications folder.)
TIMEPORTER
Your friend, the Scientist has invented a machine that can teleport fruit from the future, into his lab. But something goes wrong!
I incorporated the palette limitation as a game-play device as well. I realized that having a limited color palette could also make your character "disappear" against a same-colored background. So naturally, eating colored future-fruit is the only way to change into a more visible color!
(My first ever solo fame-jam, and my first "published" game using GameMaker)
