About

Between our world and the world beyond it lies the Titan Souls, the spiritual source and the entirety of all living things. Now among the ruins and among the titans a lone hero armed with only one arrow gathers again the souls of the Titans in search of strength.

Titan Souls is a 2D game in the open world with a top-down camera. The player has only one arrow and can only withstand one hit from the enemies. The main task is to defeat 19 giant monsters called Titans, who can also endure only one hit. There is only one way to beat each titan and only difficulty increases: the fact that the player needs to retrieve the only arrow after every unsuccessful attempt

The developers were inspired by Dark Souls the series Shadow of the Colossus and "The Legend of Zelda", taking incredible complexity, atmosphere and puzzles from them. The game was meant for replaying for truly devoted fans to achieve faster times and fewer deaths.

Titan Souls reviews and comments

Sure, Dark Souls salutes, but basically you do Titan Souls wrong with that. Although it has a similarly high Degree of Difficulty, just as much virtual Death and also the Behavior of the Player (Throwing Gamepad at the Wall and so) is very similar to the great "Soul." But in its Design, its Lightness and the ingenious Soundtrack, the Game unfolds a very unique Atmosphere. And I personally like them very much. That every Fight remains difficult at first, but still fair and feasible, is a great Strength of the Game. Surely one or the other could be changed, Character Development, weapon system, Or smaller Opponents could be installed for In Between. That would be like in many other Games. Only, then it would be nothing Special anymore.

Having got the Game through, I can say: A tough Challenge should be the Game. The Art in this would have been to be difficult but not unfair or happy. This Game fails. 1. Both Players and Bosses die on the first Hit. When you die it feels cheap, defeating a Boss it also feels cheap. 2. In Addition, the Game or Arrow and Arrow (the only Weapon) can only be controlled with a Gamepad. With the Thumbstick In virtually every Fight, you have to direct and shoot exactly at The Enemy's Weak Point Within hundreds Of seconds on Pixels. If you are used to the Precision of a Mouse, you can feel like a Game of luck. If you want Boss Rush, you can check Out Furi. If you want Top-down pixel art, you can check Out Hyper Light Drifter. Time is more sensibly invested.

Titan Souls is really a amazing good game. I never heard about it before and got to know about it by sheer luck. Jump into a joung person, who does not have any name or important lore and find yourself into a world off wounderful sights, music and deathly bosses, who only desire to kill you as much as possible. The gameword feels inspired by DarkSouls and is very lovly. Encounter only bosses in this world and explore it without getting distracted by random enemys who walks by. No. There is not such thing. Thats awesome. Pro: > Great mechanics The game does not have any LevelUps, any new items you can found, nor it is not filling you with information about the controls and whatsoever. You got a bow. Only one arror. Your feet. And you can roll around. And now show yourself, that you can beat dozen of unique bosses with this one arror. Which never breaks. Or snap in two. And can be magicly fly back to you, cause a part of your soul is into it. > The real challange Figlt yourself for honor and solve this game as fast as possible. The game counts your deaths, so you can show your friends how good you actually play. There is nowe highscore or something like this. Only you, your bow, your arrow, the death-count and time. Simple, yet amazing. Unlook new and exiting new content. Omfg. I really like this game. > Amazing music and grafic Do I have to tell you anything more? Really. If you love bits and bits, you gonna love this. I must say. A suprisly unknow title, yet have so much potenial. You sould give it a try and show people who think they are real gamer. After this game, they will think twice. Great work!
