MANDAGON

Relaxing trip inbetween other games.

This is a little but great game. Less then 1 hour and you can reach the end of it. It is a nice and beauty pixel platformer. It´s for Free, so what can you make wrong in give it 1 hour to play.

Mandagon is a very nice, relaxing Game, and I'm very surprised that it captivated me so much in the 60 min Game time. However, it is only about 60 minutes long and therefore I would be very happy about a second Part or similar.

So I have to say that I am really positively surprised. Mandagon may be very short, but a proper Story is conveyed in this short Period of time. I wish it had been even longer, because now I have played myself right and the Game is already over. Still, I'd recommend Mandagon to anyone who might be more interested in a good Story than Action. Get the Game, get tied up and keep feeling it, it's even free, what more could you want. ^^

The Screenshots reminded me of FEZ away. Unfortunately, however, the moderate Graphics are also all that is positive about this "Game." In My Opinion, the Game is incredibly boring. As a Totem, one moves through a (happy-white) small world and can be heard by the larger Totem more or less interesting Sentences. By the Way, you "search" for six Artifacts you need to complete the Game. I thought the Unlocking of Elevators was quite nice. Unfortunately, the Process only looks interesting. My Feet fell asleep while "playing," although it is a only moderate 2D walking simulator (!) with Jumping Function. The Haunt is over after 30 to 45 Minutes.

Mandagon, according to the Description, is about a World inspired by Tibetan doctrine and Faith. Without a closer Knowledge of Buddhism, Mandagon seems to me to be true to his Inspiration and offers a quick Look at the associated theological Beliefs. The Story of the Game is conveyed through Totems scattered across the World that you can interact with. The Totems reveal Wisdom, which is also meant to be a Clue to you on how to progress in the Game. In case you Get stuck, there Are guides in the workshop area. The Gameplay in Mandagon is rock solid. It's essentially that of a simple 2-D platformer with a small open World to explore. The Graphics are pixelated but detailed and have reminded me of FEZ away. The Sound is very chilly and fits perfectly with the Theme. The Playing Time is about half an Hour. During this Time, you can also collect all The achievements of this Game. I found Mandagon relaxing and spent the Time spent wisely. You don't have to invest money, Mandagon is free of charge. In Any case, worth a Recommendation!
