Tom and the Event Horizon

NOTE to MAC users: I am not sure if the mac version of this game is fully exported well or not.

This game is made by Raccoon_JS.

It was made under 48 hours for Mizzou Game Jam 2019.
And for Godot Wild Jam 8 and Geta Game Jam 7.

TOM AND THE EVENT HORIZON is about a space prisoner named Tom falling into the black hole and he has to avoid time to live long as he can.

AVOID hourglass looking icon and live as long as possible, and save yourself by getting a white circle-looking REVERSAL icon.

You move around Tom with AWD buttons (or up, left, right arrow buttons).
I took some inspiration from David Bowie's song Space Oddity, along with movies like 2001: A Space Odyssey and Enter the Void.

A or Left Button is rotate left.

D or Right Button is rotate right.

W or Up Button is move forward.

The theme for both Mizzou Game Jam 2019 and Godot Wild Jam 8 is "BLACK HOLE".
(This was for the celebration of capturing the first image of the black hole in space).

And the theme for Geta Game Jam 7 is "Time is a curse."

While I did all the programming, the shader effects in this game, on the other hand, are sourced from ShaderToy.com.

The prologue music was extracted from the teaser trailer of Soudain Le Vide.

I can't make music and find some appropriate ones at the time of the development.
