Undaunted: The Heretic One [Alpha Access]

Undaunted is a procedural – story based Dungeon Crawler in the same vein as Heretic and DOOM. Set in an ancient mythical Greek world of Gods and Monsters, you play as a man, a sinner, a heretic, banished deep within Tartarus by the corrupted Pantheon that fears you. The game is currently in the alpha-demo stage of development.

Currently Implemented Features in the Demo :

Procedural Dungeons

You are trapped deep inside Tartarus, the Pantheon has chosen to banish you inside the sunken city of Minos, once a lavish labyrinthine palace, now corrupted and ravaged by the Hellspawn of Tartarus. There will be further locations the player can explore in later and final versions of the game (Note: this is just a demo).

Combat

A Classic DOOM-esque spellcasting system is implemented as part of the core experience within Undaunted. You will start with a simple makeshift Staff, but as you progress through the game you will find more powerful ranged weapons that provide greater variety in combat, and a rusty but trusted blade to hack your enemies down when your Mana reserves run low.

Loot

You can loot various precious objects scattered around the Labyrinth, as it was a palace full of Gold and treasures before it sank deep beneath Tartarus. Looted objects will count as Gold, which can be used to purchase Staffs, consumables, and other useful things from the Petrified Merchants of Tartarus you encounter in game.

Weapons
Inside this demo, you will encounter 6 staffs that you can find scattered around the dungeon, but be aware, you can only carry three staffs, so sacrifice and choice needs to be made.
