Early Access Review To Setting: An Island full of Dangers, you wake up as a half-naked Castaway and have to fight for Survival after just a few Minutes. Whether it's Cold, Hunger or thirst or One of Nature's myriad dangers such as Wolves or bears, you'll be threatened from all Sides in search of a suitable place for a small Dwelling And warming clothing. But once you've mastered this Hurdle, you'll find your eye to eye with other wild Northerners or Creatures such as werewolves, Draugr and Trolls, and the Battle for precious Treasures such as Silver, Gold, Swords and Artifacts captivates you (sometimes simply The Challenge of finding the Troll or killing the Werewolf). The Concept also includes a number of Missions that can be picked up from local Jarls or wise Men, but they are only available in small Numbers so far. Game performance: Adding to an Early Access title, I've experienced significantly worse FPS dips in larger Titles that were still good. There's been steady work on the Game and since I bought it a few Weeks ago there have been some Updates and Bug Fixes. Every now and then, extreme Rucklers and Server Crashes can be expected after a Patch, but these, although it can sometimes take some time, are fixed again. Price: Compared to other Survival Titles that also came out as Early Access, it's very cheap right now. Verdict: Great Game, ingenious Setting. After Updates you can expect a Phase of different Bugs but you should not throw the Flint in the Grain and wait for the Fix, because there is something New to discover every time. It adds some very nice Subtleties To the Tried-and-tested survival concept, so that a good Mix of Titles like Ark (in The Survival area) and Skyrim (in Setting and the already existing RPG character) is emerging. One should also always remember that this Game is Early Access and that it can be weighted at any time the Server or the Fun of the game Is complicated by a nasty Crawl Beetle.
