Sam Foyles(first name variable)is an 18 year old with a fervent desire to escape her past. A past full of bullies and fake friends has led her to go to an entirely new country for college. She seeks the comfort of anonymity, vowing to keep her truths to herself if it means gaining peace.

Mikaela Zhou-Vernier is an 18 year old vampire hunter with a shameful secret. Her one desire is to get through college and regain a semblance of normalcy among the remains of the plans she'd made for herself.

Unbeknownst to either of them, the school they picked stands at the center of a growing master plan to uproot the hunters and place vampires in their legitimate place: above us all.

And in the middle of that, the comfort of common ground between two isolated girls only trying to fit in, whatever the cost.
