Viridian (wotsern)

Working as a part of a team, deliver a high-quality game project.

Viridian was a game idea developed by the team of Open Fridge as a part of our Final Major Project for Birmingham City University.

The brief didn't really have any limitations, and so with this, our team had decided to discuss all of our ideas and pick out the ones we had all shown interest in; this is where the idea of Viridian was born.

With Viridian being a Tower Defence x Horde Shooter, our main focus was to establish an area in which all disciplines within the team are able to produce work for their portfolio. This being a priority, we decided to go with a garden-type environment that would use plants and flowers as the defense mechanisms, with the ability to cast spells to fend off the enemies even more.
