Wacky Wheels HD

As an old Wacky Wheels Player who had already searched for the original on a dos PC in the 90s, I was excited to see what the HD remake would be like. All the more disappointing then the Result. What is on offer here might have Potential, but it has misersed it mightily. Unlike the Original, PC opponents can now use the Weapons to collect. However, this annoys animally and destroys all balance. Previously, collected Hedgehogs were only available once per Race, now they spawn. Add to that new annoying Gimmicks like a Spaceship, which stops you briefly, which just annoys you animal. In addition, on the Roadway, there are now all sorts of Critters crawling around, braking the Car when you run them over. What is the Nonsense supposed to Do? Unfortunately, none of this can be disabling. This has nothing to do with racing game skills, but rather degenerates into a Kind of nursery carmageddon. In addition, the Animals now all have different Characteristics. Was not the Case in the Original Game. The Graphics are ok so far, I don't expect any High-end graphics here. The Sound Effects are sometimes rather annoying, especially the laughing Devil quickly goes to the Bag. The Duck Shooting is still ok, but otherwise ... If you do the Balance with a Patch and give you the Opportunity to park the Weapons and road animals, I would perhaps recommend it. But so? So it's just a Farce, an Attempt to get close to the Original without its originality, with stupid own ideas that-I'll say-no Human Wants. Therefore, no Recommendation.
