Early Access Review One of the valuable Games for which I want to give an evaluation in order to direct the popularity and attention to this one-man project:) (If my ability allows:)
Warshift can already do so much better than so many big brands that suggest bombastic graphics parked with strategy and ego control is simply impressive ..
Liquid and detailed representations so much the seamless transition from near and far perspective has been very well worked out, and yet it is still early access!
At the current price and the already existing possibilities is at all times a Clear Buy recommendation and definitely just Horny, even if I have only pulled very little of the game are known to me many strategy games and this one is worth a pearl and every risk.
Let's go back to the Battlefield and tell you even if the Game Mechanics are completely clear to me. o7

Warshift is actually a Combination of RTS, Third Person Shooter and a prise of RPG.
The Game works as follows: Before a Skirmish or Multiplayer Game you can choose between 2 Factions (People or Aliens) and You also have to choose one of at least 3 Selectable "Avatars." (People have an Avatar more to choose from)
This Avatar can then be commanded in the Game like an ordinary RTS unit or controlled in Third Person itself. The Avatar can also be equipped with Objects that, for Example, increase Life and Energy or change its Weapon. Better Items can only be purchased after a certain Level. The Avatar automatically rises in Combat, whether personally controlled or commanded.
There is also basic Construction, but in order to build Buildings, the Avatar must be close to an Energy Source.
Once a Building has been placed, the Avatar no longer has to be present at this Energy Source in order to be able To build more Buildings nearby. (The only Resource you need is mined by a Drilling Rig, which you must of course build it yourself beforehand.)
The Energy Sources are firmly indicated on the Map and outweigh the Buildings. You can build 3 Buildings per energy source. But You can also build similar Energy Sources that increase the Unit Limit and also supply other Buildings nearby. (The self-buildable Energy Sources, however, need an Energy Source themselves first)
Some Buildings are also tied to the Avatar level, which means that you can only build an Airport until The Avatar reaches level 7.
The Campaign You actually only get with that People meet the Aliens and now take action against them.
This is not really a real Story. They are basically only varied Missions that do not explain why you have to proceed in this way now or why what happens.
Conclusion I haven't seen the Mix very often yet and I think that highlights the Game in a positive way. That this Game was developed by only one Person but you already get with it. The Quality is not bad but the last Finishing Touches are missing and the Scope could be greater. I can therefore recommend the Game to those who want to try something new in the RTS area.
