Waste Walkers
About
Waste Walkers
It is perhaps a decade into our future... Mankind's future. The economies of the world have imploded. Governments have waged war on both their neighbors and their own citizens. There has been a complete collapse of society, order, infrastructure, and morality. Horrific weapons have scarred the earth and vaporized entire cities. Those who have not yet perished are forced to scavenge and struggle for survival. This is their new reality. Hordes of disfigured creatures hunt for food. Gangs of bandits rob, kill, and loot. You are but a dim flicker of light in a dark and dying world. This is the world of Waste Walkers.

The Game itself is really great!
It's Fun to browse the post-apocalyptic City and meet new People, seek Supplies and level up the Group. The RPG Elements are well solved: Put Equipment and award Status points at LVL-UP And use Skillpoints.
Dile Music might be a bit more ostensible-but so supports the dystopia character.
But What bothers me * * * * * *: For the second Time, the Game TO reports a Mistake to The save. And now I can't load the Game balance! The first time after 18h (!) Game Time, now after 5 5,2h game time. THAT NERVT! And so the Fun of the Game has dropped to ZERO ...

Good Game-with small Weaknesses.
Little Tip: Turns off the Fog of War right at the Beginning-then you see more and it does the Eyes good The biggest Weakness in the Game, in my Opinion, is the degree of Difficulty. While the first Fights are still demanded and you are told in the Introduction that you should not do all the Fights and can easily escape.
It Will be very easy after 30-1 Hour. Once you get Access to the first Shop and swap all your Scrap for a massive Armor and Weapon, you're invincible. Once you have another 2nd Char in the Team, all the more so.
Was when I stopped playing lvl 16 (Main Hero) and lvl 13 (Seeker)-Opponents were usually lvl 8-10.
And death with 1-2 Strokes.

Early access review this game is what might look like, in a few kinds, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. in 2D without the A-RPG side because the water is radioactive (as in clear sky and call of Prypiat) so, one step in and you are victim of radiation.
Not to mention the search to find objects (rare or not), the safe houses (stashes) to be dislodged with some bandits (a nuuuu! Cheeki Breeki IV damke!), the mobs who attack us by surprise (Beware when entering the fruit store South), places affected by radiation, etc..
In short, as in a S.T.A.L.K.E.R., we can die from the beginning even if we manage the mechanics of the gameplay to try to survive longer to the point of reload a backup a few minutes/hours to have looter good stuff.

Early Access Review
I like games like Fallout, Wasteland, and i love RGPs too.
So i started this game and i was prepared to die a lot, if you have fun at it. (Just remembering Demon Souls were dying is a part of the game)
In this game i was expecting a bit of a story or quests.
So i started it and died some times very soon. Tried it again, and was able to explore more of the game, but always dodging players or doing a quest with nearly no reward, is killing for me the fun to play it and if you die every time because you have no idea where you are , where you can find the next saving point or having anymore time to find one because rl is calling or you get bored from dodging monsters. you won t progress in the game.
The help to get to the first waypoint and find a shop helps a lot.
You have to give the game a try, maybe it can suprise you. and like you see it s still in development.
