Wasteland 4000 Demo

You have bravely volunteered to test experimental cryo-freeze technology, but wake up to find the world has evolved into a nightmarish hell-scape.

Your mission is to travel north to find what might be the only other human left on earth. 

Explore, fight monsters, scavenge loot, and run out of food.

The game is a turn based roguelike featuring permadeath, day night cycle, hunger and simple stealth mechanics. Choose to play as a child, hobo, or veteran.

The world is a procedurally generated 32 wide grid that just keeps going. There's currently a bunch of biomes: Cornfield, Highway, Swamp, Forest, and more.

• WASD to move the camera, mouse-click to move and attack enemies.
• Use items by clicking and dragging them from your inventory, pick up items by walking over them.
• Can toggle animations, fullscreen, and sound volume in the options menu (reached by ‘escape’ key). Only reachable after starting the game.

• There’s no experience from killing enemies, though monsters drop tainted meat. 
• Current obtainable items: Crowbar, Wand, Flaregun, revolver, slingshot, gatling gun, 3 rings, wooly hat, and food items.
• After the forest the tunnel is meant to be pretty much impossible to survive, consider that the end of the demo.
