We Know the Devil
About
Anyone can kill the devil; that's why they always make teens the vampire slayers, the magical girls. But some kids can't even get that right; and that's why meangirl Neptune, tomboy Jupiter, and shy shy Venus have to endure one more week of summer camp and each other, singing boring songs about jesus, doing busywork for adults, and hoping god's radio can't hear them.
Before they can leave the summer scouts, they've got to spend twelve hours in the loneliest cabin in the woods and wait for the devil to come and live through the night--or not. You know.

This game is definitely one (or the) of the most moving Visual novels I've ever played.
It is also funny, endearing, interesting, and it is a very nice Ode to Queers.
Play all the roads, even the one that hides;).

Already, last a game of fantasy and horror appearance, one finds a pretty deep reflection and realizes on the fact to be, each of the ends (one for each heroine + a true ending) brings his information about the background of the characters and a reflection Associate "every kid have a part of the devil"

A short Visual story (I found all the endings in 1 hour), having a rather peculiar style of drawings (I liked it very much) and a rather difficult scenario to follow, dealing with the Catholic religion, homosexuality, transsexuality, friendship and intimidation. I had to read a message on the steam Forum to understand it better. There are also successes to collect by getting the ends. Due to its short life span, I recommend it on sale.

The idea is not bad in itself and there are some pretty original aspects. As much in the construction of the world as in the characters and the ideas conveyed.
On the other hand, even when I bought it on sale I do not come out satisfied. So little list!
FOR-originality of the drawing-originality of the world-depth of ideas-good transmission of the unsaid-pleasing characters see endeant in their faults-uncertain history: I like when one has to "guess", that one is not sure of everything. A bit like a Myazaki or we are looking for the solution but not the explanation.
-In summary: very poetic sort neutral-music: as good as it can be bad. I include all the noise in this criticism.
CONS-well too short. All finished in less than three hours.
-Too expensive for what it is, even on sale. (bought at €6.63)-too repetitive: the different roads have no difference. Only the end and the dialogues where one has to choose someone to talk/walk change. Otherwise nothing.
-Gives the impression of a feneantise in the actions on the part of the developers. More faces, positions, reaction maybe?
-You have only 6 actions/choice in the whole game. The rest is the same reading from one part to the other. So for me, €1 the action! It's a little pricey.
-Small bug well pity: when you do fast dialogues (because Yes, read x-times the same dialogues it is a waste of time at the time) the characters disappear or then one sees only the eyes and the mouth. But it's really a tiny thing so I forgive, the bugs, especially that do not prevent the story, are not a real against for me but for other...
