Weapon Shop

This was my part of a project done over the summer in our free time. The players would run a weapon shop where they would make their own weapons and explore four main areas for different materials. In the exploration area, the plan was to include combat.
Unfortunately, there was confusion among my teammates as to what level of seriousness we would commit to the project. The other programmers in the project were more than competent, but did not have the time to finish their parts. I was responsible for AI for the customers and enemies. I also did all the network programming, the day cycle, sleeping function, interaction system, and the placeholder UI. Everything in this executable was done by me. We did not have enough time to combine our efforts. The crafting, economy, and inventory systems were never finished which bottlenecked my progress. Everyone had too much going on during the summer to devote more time and effort. In the future, I would endeavor to be more clear in communicating with team members about our availability to work on the project.
I do not regret working on this project. I learned a lot about the basics of network programming and about Netcode for Gameobjects with Unity. I also learned more about AI programming, though it is not perfect and there are bugs. We all just did not have enough time for the whole project.
