How does this game relate to the optional theme ?

The game revolves around the theme of "memory loss" or "lost memories" where a grandfather tries to remember the reason for his unusual retirement, this is loosely inspired by the plot of Waltz with Bashir. There are also loss memes scattered around the game's background, if that counts.
