Story

Early in 1986, Oneida, NY development house, Oneida Dynamics entered into a verbal contract to port a popular, unlicensed Olympic-like game from Commodore computers to several cutting-edge Japanese home entertainment consoles.

Late in the next year, with its first game still unreleased,  the studio entered into a second verbal contract to develop a Cold War spy game for a new handheld system. 

Given the 1 person studio’s limited resources, it was quickly understood that compromise and creative thinking would be required to meet both obligations. Court records would later point to a secret, third pactum to explain both games’ bug aesthetic.

 With this release, both games are finally available for modern systems and now, for the first time, completable thanks to live swapping technology.
