Word Challenge - Set 2

This FREE Android app will let you enhance your vocabulary, improve your understanding and increase your reading comprehension. This app presents 100 words and definitions with word origins and sample sentences. Each of the 5 game screens presents 20 word tiles that are shuffled at the start. Then a randomly selected definition is presented at the bottom of the screen. The player must select the matching tile. A score is displayed, so you can try to improve your score through practice.

There are 5 study screens which present the definition of the term, a sample sentence containing the term, and the word origin of the term. The scores and times of completed levels are reported at the end. Music and sound effects are played during the levels, but can be turned off. It is a free app with no permissions requested. There is no advertising or internet connectivity. The app was tested on a 7” tablet, 10” tablet, and a Smartphone. It should run on any device with an Android version 5.0 or higher.
Also available in Windows version which will run well on Windows 7.0 through 10.0.
